Asia Travel Guide
Being the largest and the most populous continent, Asia represents almost one-third of the earth's land mass. It proudly holds the world's highest peak- Mt. Everest and is the home to both the largest and deepest lakes on Earth. The countries of Asia are so diverse that on the surface, they have very little in common. If anything, their common factor lies in their diversity itself.
Celebrate in one of the hot spots in Asia and let your hair down till the wee hours of the morning. Strap an oxygen tank on your back and explore the underwater beauty and wildlife round the continent. Palawan in Philippines is a top dive site and is packed with rainbow colored corals and a thousand species of wildlife. Sulawesi in Indonesia is a collection of islands which make the Bunaken National Marine Park. It is gifted with 30 dive spots that are regarded as some of the best in the world with its stunning marine diversity. Maldives is wondrously as beautiful under as it is above. White tipped reef sharks and whale sharks make their mark and you shouldn't have any problem spotting them.
Explore the nooks and crannies of Thailand on two wheels. Markets around Bangkok or the beaches of Krabbi can be all explored on the road. The Thai desert does funny things to visitors on a full moon night. Partying starts at sun down and lasts till lunch time the next day. Macau is heralded as Asia's hottest play ground with opulent Las Vegas style Casinos such as Wynn and Sands. When the gambling chips are down, you can walk down to the Docas Waterfront area lined with cafés and stylish bars. To the south of Bangkok, there is of course Pattaya, the rest and recreation capital. Lijiang is without a doubt the main tourist draw in China. It is a world famous cultural heritage site in China with quaint and historical buildings hundreds of years old and takes you a step into the majestic Chinese culture. Diverse culture and natural resources are the two words that will stay with you during your trip to Asia.
Chiefly in the eastern and northern hemispheres, Asia is a more cultural concept incorporating a number of regions and people rather than a homogeneous, physical entity. Every country in Asia offers varies cultures, customs and traditions that could fascinate any one from all across the globe.

Traveling back to my 2009 trips

I have covered almost 20,000 miles, visited four countries, and enjoyed several beaches and landmarks. It was my first time to cross the Pacific, expanding my journeys beyond Asia, and to travel during my birthday. Looking ... Read full Blog post

For this trip we rented a Nissan Patrol 4x4 and we have traveled 13,756 kilometers. Of course we had carefully read an auto blog in order to pick up the best car for this long trip. The Australian roads are in excellent condition, the maximum speed is 100/110 miles per hour. Potentially dangerous situations encountered driving outback, due to kangaroos or cows crossing the road. However there ... Read full Blog post
