Peru's climate is divided into three geographical regions: the mountain highlands, jungles, and the coast. The following are the breakdown of seasons in each region:
The Mountain Highlands (Lake Titicaca, Cusco, etc.)
Mid-April to October: Dry season (hot days and freezing nights especially between June and July)
June to August: Peak season
November to Mid-April: Wet season. The heaviest rains come between January and February.
The Coast (Arequipa, Lima, Nasca)
December to April: Summer
January to February: Peak Season
May to November: Cold
The Jungles
April to October: Dry season (dry days, cold nights)
November to March: Wet season (with heavy rains)
