Visa is a mandatory requirement in entering Kazakhstan. Provisions regarding exemptions and visa upon arrival are non-existent. Thus, in planning to pay this nomadic country a visit, better secure a visa first from the nearest Kazak Embassy or Consulate.
The general requirements in applying for a Kazak visa include a passport with validity of at least six months and with spare visa pages, a copy of an invitation letter, one completely filled-out visa application form, one passport-size photo, and the consular fee. The processing normally takes a couple of days. Afterwards, the benefits of the visa may be enjoyed.
