Most nationalities are required to have visa in order to enter Israel. It may be obtained prior to the visit or right at the airport upon arrival. Typical cost of a single entry visa is 10 JD, while a multiple entry visa is double this price. The requirements for application includes, a passport valid for at least six months, one completed and signed visa application form, two recent passport-type photos, an onward and return ticket and confirmed itinerary, a copy of hotel reservation, proof of financial sufficiency, and a letter of invitation from a local travel agency or host in the country. After these documents are submitted, the visa may easily be issued and the tour may be commenced as planned.
