Thai Silk Exhibition and Museum Hall
The Thai Silk Exhibition and Museum Hall or Sala Mai Thai highlights the main industry in Chonabot which is silk weaving. It was a project in commemoration of Her Majesty the Queen's 60th birthday on August 12, 1992. It was built in order to support and promote the silk industry in the area and at the same time, preserve the traditions of silk weaving.
Some of the items found in the Thai Silk Exhibition and Museum Hall in Chonabot include silk products, tools and the process of creating silk garments. It also has the most expensive silk textile which was woven in Chonabot.
