Hong Kong Ocean Park

Its not just a zoo, its a complete entertainment theme park. The Hong Kong Ocean Park boasts of 14 rides along with its four story aquarium which holds more than 2,000 fishes and marine animals. The park has been ranked by Forbes among the World's Most Popular Amusement Parks in June 2006, having almost 5 million visitors in the fiscal year of 2005/2006. In 2007, the number of visitors to the Hong Kong Ocean Park allegedly surpassed the number of visitors to Hong Kong Disneyland.

Aside from entertainment facilities, Hong Kong Ocean Park also has laboratories, education department and observatories dedicated to marine animals. They were also the first institution to successfully perform artificial insemination of bottle nosed dolphins and create numerous new breeds of goldfish.
