Long Thanh is the most prominent photographer of Vietnam and the Long Thanh Gallery shows his work. It is a place where one can both learn about the history of this person as well as examples of his greatest works.
The first picture ever developed by this famous photographer was in 1964; it was a black and white image. Since then, he has stuck with this style. The subject of his pictures is the everyday moments of Vietnamese people. For most locals, the pictures truly capture the heart and soul of the country. Some of the most popular pictures in the museum are Under the Rain and Afternoon Countryside.
Long Thanh is devoted to his old school style of photography. He doesn't like colored photography, especially digital photography and of course, Photoshop.
