There are a lot of other images of Buddha in the temple which shows the life of Shakyamuni Buddha. The Sakaya Muni Buddha Gaya Temple has been called the Temple of 1,000 Lights because the central statue is given an aura by several light bulbs surrounding it which are lit up during the evening.
