The Bukit Chandu, or the Opium Hill, is a historical site in Singapore. This was the place in the country where the Battle of Bukit Chandu took place in February 14, 1942 for the Battle of Singapore during the Second World War. This was the final major battle in the country, Here visitors and tourists will be able to see an exhibition dedicated on the 1st and 2nd Battalions of the Malay Regiment. They were the ones who bravely defended the hill against the invading Japanese forces. However, the former was no match for the 13,000 or more Japanese soldiers who attacked their last stand. The visitors of Bukit Chandu will be transported back into the battle through high tech imagery and audio effects.
