Sensitive topics in Myanmar

The Burmese Government is a military dictatorship and does not handle criticisms very well.  Never engage in a conversation regarding democracy, the government's shortcomings, or the government leaders with your guide, your driver, or anyone for that matter.  You can get in trouble with authorities if you are caught or if you are reported doing so.
