Hustai National Park or Khustain Nuruu is the home of Mongolia’s Takhi wild horses or Przewalski's Horses. Khustain Nuruu is in Tov Aimag Region. You can get there via arranging a tour or hiring a car or microbus from Ulaanbaatar. You may also go there through a bicycle if you wish. The road going there is mostly paved and only gets rocky about 20 kilometers away from the park.

The best time to go to the park is between May to October to enjoy the pleasant mountain steppe weather. The entrance to the park costs $10 per person. To navigate the park and see the freely-roaming horses, you can hike or ride the park’s shuttle jeep. The entrance fee already includes free ride to the jeep.

You will not be allowed to camp in the park, but at it's south is Tuul River, where you can set up your tent. Don't worry about food or supplies because the reserve has its own dining hall and small grocery store.
