Petra Traveler guide

Visiting the ruins of Petra in Jordan gives you the chance to marvel at the site and be welcomed by members of the Bedouin tribe.  They offer tourists a ride on their camels and donkeys. However, before happily accepting the offer, ask first for the price. The fee may seem extremely expensive (20 dinar) for most. And besides, it’s better to discover Petra while strolling around the area .

Striking a pose however with the animals is way cheaper. You can ask the Bedouin if they will let you sit on the camel’s back for a photo opportunitiy.
