Staying healthy in India

Do remember that because of India's nature of food and culture, everyone who visits there is a candidate for getting sick.  Diarrhea is a number one enemy there.  Avoid drinking tap water, rather only buy those bottled drinks.  Also, try not to eat vegetables raw, and clean them and fruits as much as possible.  Fruits that can't be peeled, are a no-no.  And of course, wash your hands everytime before eating.

Malaria is also rampant, so it is a good idea to buy mosquito coils or mosquito repellent to keep those nasty insects away.

If you follow these, you probably will be able to spend less time in bed and more time exploring and having fun.
