As a tourist, you always have to be aware of pickpockets and scam artists anywhere. In Greece, do remember that those kinds of crimes have been slightly on the rise these past few years. So, be ever vigilant, try to look as one they don't want to mess with, and if those things do happen to you don't panic, but report to the police station immediately. They can help. Just dial the tourist police hotline 171.
