Beware of hawkers

/ Asia / China / Shanghai / Shanghai Traveler Advice

Take note that there are many aggressive hawkers, especially in Pudong’s Science Museum and Old Town. Such hawkers usually sell counterfeit designer goods and would bug and follow you around until you buy. If ever you encounter some, just ignore them and do not even look at their products or else they will not let you go until you purchase from them. If ever they have become so irritating, shout “Bu yao!” (I don’t want it!) to keep them off your path.
