Beijing Ancient Architecture Museum

Located about three kilometers from Tiananmen Square, the Beijing Architecture Museum displays the history of the country's ancient architecture. The exhibits are divided into two parts, the first is about the ancient architectures and the second is about ancient architecture art. The Xiannongtan complex is found in the first part of the exhibit. It is a captivating and magnificent complex which shows rich history not only in architecture but with Chinese culture as well. The second part shows mainly the evolution of ancient Chinese architecture. The museum also has a model of old Beijing, which is also the largest sand table model in the country.
