Seafood, horses among Masbate’s specialties

Expect to eat giant crabs, oysters, lobsters, dish, and other seafood in Masbate’s restaurants. As the country’s “ranch capital,” Masbate also has among the country’s best poultry meat (the beef here is very tender and heavy to the stomach). Hence, the island’s specialties, apart from seafood, are grilled horse’s meat, beef steak, and flavored fresh cow’s milk, which can be bought from Facenda da Esperanza in Milagros.
