Bethel Woods observes its legacy of being pro-earth by encouraging visitors to the place to observe eco-friendly measures like arriving in a car pool, as the attendees of the ‘60s Woodstock did. The exact address is 200 Hurd Road, Bethel, New York 12752. From NYC and Northern NJ, take New York State Thruway (I-87) North to Exit 16 Harriman. Proceed to Route 17(86) West to Exit 104 going west on Route 17B. Travel for about 10 miles and turn right to Hurd Road at the Bethel Woods sign. The park does not charge for general admission parking but premium parking costs $20 per day.
You can also join a shuttle bus with a terminal at New York City, New Jersey, Ridgewood, and Middletown, NY. Roundtrip fares cost $16 to $50 per person.
